Alkalinity Increaser raises the total alkalinity in swimming pools. Maintaining alkalinity levels is a critical component in keeping your water balanced. Lower levels cause pH levels to fluctuate. High levels can cause pH levels to oppose adjustment. Ideal alkalinity levels stay between 80 to 150 ppm.
PROTECTS pH LEVEL IN POOL
Balanced alkalinity levels help keep the pH level. An unlevel pH can cause the water to become too "hungry" and cause erosion of pool equipment, surface, etc.
Add 1.5lbs to raise total alkalinity level 10ppm per 10,000 gallons of water.
Recommended level is between
80-120ppm.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Before adding the product, measure the total alkalinity levels. If below 80 ppm, add alkalinity using the chart below.
2. Broadcast product into the pool or spa with the pump running over the deepest part of the pool.
3. Let run for 2 hours after adding product.
4. Retest the total alkalinity level after 6 hours. Repeat treatment if necessary until levels are ideal.
Dosage of Alkalinity (In Pounds)
FIRST AID:
IF IN EYES – Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes, while lifting eyelids. Remove contact lenses, after the first 5 mins., then continue to rinse eyes. Call a physician if irritation persists.
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING – Take off contaminated clothing. Brush off excess and rinse skin immediately with water for 15-20 minutes.
IF INHALED – Remove yourself to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, call 911, then give artificial respiration or mouth-to-mouth, if possible.
IF SWALLOWED – If large amounts are swallowed, drink a large amount of water. Do not
induce vomiting. Call a physician.
STORAGE and DISPOSAL:
Keep the product dry in the original, tightly closed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water then place in the trash receptacle.
